Teaching Assistant, Graduate Student
Jovan Tripkovic is a teaching assistant and a graduate student pursuing an M.A. in Political Science at the University of Wyoming. He holds an M.A. in European Studies from the University of Padova, Italy, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Caldwell University, New Jersey. Prior to joining the University of Wyoming, Jovan was a Shaftesbury Fellow at the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy and a Wilbur Fellow at the Russell Kirk Center. He is also a former First Liberty Fellow, class of 2019. In addition, Jovan worked as an intern at the James Wilson Institute in Washington, D.C., and the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Germany.
Originally from Serbia, he worked as a freelance journalist covering American Affairs and the Trump administration for numerous Serbian media outlets. Jovan has lived in six countries: Serbia, Hungary, the United States, Greece, Italy, and Germany. Currently, he is a member of the Steamboat Institute’s Emerging Leaders Council and calls Wyoming home. After graduation, Jovan plans to pursue a Ph.D. program in International Relations.
