FIRST LIBERTY FELLOWSHIP IS AN EXCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM EQUIPPING RISING LEADERS TO ADVOCATE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.
The Fellowship is a project of First Liberty Institute, the nation’s largest legal organization dedicated solely to defending religious liberty for all Americans.
As a fellow, you will complete an eye-opening reading list and take-away guide prior to an all-expenses paid, action-packed week in Washington, D.C.
Once in D.C., you’ll have the opportunity to hear from, meet and network with the brightest minds advocating religious freedom. Afterward, you will create and submit a competitive response project applying your newfound knowledge to your chosen field of study or work.
When you officially complete the First Liberty Fellowship, you will be equipped with the motivation and information you need to advocate religious liberty for all Americans, starting right in your own circle of peers.
First Liberty Institute understands that true religious freedom means recognizing the human right of every individual to follow their conscience in all areas of life regardless of their age, race, gender, economic status or faith.
But years of data reveal widespread misinformation about and even hostility toward religious freedom in America, resulting in hundreds of victims of religious discrimination every year. And unfortunately, statistics show that both misinformation and hostility are growing.
Step into your future.
The fifth annual First Liberty Fellowship Program will take place November 4 - 8, 2020 in Washington D.C.
The First Liberty Fellowship is primarily open to those who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Graduate students and young working professionals will be considered on a case by case basis. All who are eager to deepen their knowledge of religious freedom and learn to advocate it are welcome, regardless of field of study or career.
